THIS is Zionism:

In July 1954 Gibli ordered the activation of a sabotage network comprised of young, idealistic Jewish agents. Moshe Sharett was prime minister, Pinhas Lavon was defense minister and Moshe Dayan was the IDF chief of staff. The network's members were trained as "sleeper agents" who would be ordered to sabotage strategic installations in Egypt, such as bridges and pumping stations, in the event of a major crisis. But in July 1954 a decision was made to use them for a mission for which they had not really been trained - planting bombs in movie theaters and American institutions in Cairo and Alexandria. The person who gave that short-sighted order hoped it would be a strategic move that would make President Abdel Nasser's regime appear unstable and persuade Britain not to evacuate its military bases in the Suez Canal, a move the Israeli leadership feared."

What a despicable state, is all that can be said.

When Bush opposes your war...

you know youre a warmonger.

JERUSALEM - Israel gave serious thought earlier this year to a military strike on Iran's nuclear sites but was told by President Bush he would not support it, Britain's Guardian newspaper reported Friday.

Elder of Ziyon: Picture proves Holocaust didnt happen

The pathetic Elder of Ziyon, who I've documented has absolutely done no serious scholarly research on the Arab Israeli conflict, has come up with another gem of a post. Although Elder showed he knew nothing about the 1967 war (he didnt even know that the Straits of Tiran were in fact open, or that Nasser did not want UNEF forces completely removed from the Sinai), he now engages in the most bizzarre logic to disprove what is happening in Gaza. Here is Amnesty Intnl. , in summary:

The fuel shortage has affected every aspect of life in Gaza. Patients’ hospital attendance has dropped because of lack of transport and universities were forced to shut down before the end of the school year as students and teachers could not continue to travel to them. Fuel-powered pumps for wells and water distribution networks are often not working.

Medical facilities in Gaza lack the specialized staff and equipment to treat a range of conditions, such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. In addition, hospitals are now under ever greater pressure, as they face shortages of equipment, spare parts and other necessary supplies as a result of the blockade.

Elder "debunks" this, by showing a picture of Palestinians at a restaurant...and thats it.

By Elder's logic, then, the Holocaust didnt happen. After all, I have a picture to prove it! Jews getting married.

Does Elder know that his absurd logic is used in the most crude forms of Holocaust denial?

Bozo the Clown takes on Iran

Sarah Palin seems to be an endless source of gaffes and absurdities. Going through her scheduled, albeit cancelled, speech in New York, it didn't take long before she managed to reveal that while she holds a Ph.D. in Russian Studies, she merely holds a Masters Degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Government.
"Ahmadinejad may choose his words carefully, but underneath all of the rhetoric is an agenda that threatens all who seek a safer and freer world. We gather here today to highlight the Iranian dictator's intentions and to call for action to thwart him"

Can someone tell Sarah Palin (and other fanatical, ignorant Zionists) that dictators, like, don't have four-year terms.

Larry King is Vacuous:

It is amazing to watch Larry King interview the Iranian president. He thinks he is being a tough interviewer by asking him the same questions that have been addressed for the last 4 years over and over and over again. Instead of doing any serious research and being actually able to confront Ahmadinejad, he spews talking points. Next time, have the teleprompter do the interview.

Ben Gurion was delighted...

Zionists often claim that the early Zionist movement never had any intentions of expelling the Arab popuation. Yet it becomes particularly hard to reconcile this with what Zionist leaders said at the time. David Ben-Gurion, for example noted, "what happened in jerusalem and what happened in Haifa could well happen in great parts of the country if we hold on...It is very possible that in the coming six or or eight or ten months of the war there will take place  great changes...not all of them to our detriment. Certainly there will be great changes in the composition of the country."

And, "In the Negev we will not buy land,. We will conquer it. You are forgetting that we are at war."

Obviously, this is just a tease more to come.

Were you wondering about Zionism?

Here is a good story, very illustrative of the brutality Palestinians have been living with since the establishment of Israel:

"Since my video was shown, the soldiers shoot at our house all the time,” she said. The shattered and cracked windows at the front of the building confirm her story. “When we leave the windows open, they fire tear gas inside too.”"

How humane.

Random

Within the circle of investors in financial stocks, the most daring and astute trade in recent memory goes by the name “Citibank at 8”. In late 1991 the US was in recession and, as Citibank struggled with bad real estate loans, the shares slipped 77 per cent, to below $8 (equal to $2.50 today, after splits), and less than 40 per cent of book value. But by selling assets, cutting its dividend and raising fresh capital, Citi’s shares doubled in less than a year, reached the low $30s by late 1993 and by 1998 had soared more than tenfold.

Wishful investors in today’s credit crisis spurred financials into small rallies in January, April and July but the stocks have continued to wilt. There is no consensus: some traditional managers are buying with both hands and others watch eagerly from a safe distance, while the hedge fund world is net short, betting on further financial chaos.

Financial stocks around the world have responded to the ongoing crisis in credit and confidence by falling 30-40 per cent in the past year, or between two and three times the declines in the broader markets of the US, Europe and the world (down 11 per cent, 15 per cent and 13 per cent respectively, according to MSCI). The bottom chart plots the one-year history of the Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF that has become a popular vehicle for expressing points of view on US financials.

Worse yet, the massive write-offs of flawed assets do not mean the end of bad news: Goldman Sachs reports that Wall Street’s estimates for US financials are projected to fall 39 per cent in 2008 (following 2007’s 34 per cent drop). On five-year forward estimates, Goldman concludes that, despite their fall, the financials are the third most expensive sector in the US market, after utilities and materials.

Another Act of War by Israel:

Mohamed Balhas was on his tractor clearing a patch of land near his home in southern Lebanon last week when a cluster bomb exploded, shooting shrapnel into his chest and left leg."I didn't know what hit me. Suddenly blood was pouring from my chest," said the 36-year-old Balhas.

The work is dangerous -- in the two years since the war's end, 27 civilians and 13 deminers have been killed and 234 civilians and 39 deminers wounded as a result of cluster bombs and unexploded ordnance, according to MACC.

"The United Nations has repeatedly requested cluster bomb data from Israel (including maps and the type of ordnance dropped), but in two years plus, we still haven't received the requested data," Farran said.
"This remains the main obstacle to the cluster bomb clearing effort."

The Nixon Tapes (A gift that keeps on giving)

Watch Nixon go on a racist, anti-semitic rant on this youtube video. Its absolutely fascinating to listen to.
